Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts belongs to the fourth generation of Robertses to reside in the Atlanta region, beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Early in his life the father of her mother became obsessed by theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the Air force. Both married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show themselves. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for 6 years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) during this period.
