My son played in the playpen as I sat for 12 hours cleaning the floors, as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it wasn't quite done. Growing Days just seemed to work. My daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. Though I was content about the direction my company took, I felt like I needed to take an occasional break. I opted to take a little time off from my vintage furniture and stay at home with the children. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time. After a couple of months, my phone started to ring. There were calls from people asking me to help them with interior decor and home renovations. Most of them visited my home during my furniture open houses. In the following time, I took on clients according to my schedule. Soon I had numerous accounts as well as a home renovations company. You would probably have made me laugh if you had said that this was going to be the subject of a DIY Network tv series. It's fun to reflect about the idea.
